Gay'S Elegant Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped green onions
    2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 c. milk
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. chicken flavored bouillon granules
Preparation
    Saute green onions and mushrooms in butter in Dutch oven until onions are tender. Stir in flour. Gradually add milk and water to mushroom mixture, stirring well. Add bouillon granules and cook over low heat 10 minutes or just until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
    Yields 4 cups.
