Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 whole egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg, vanilla and flour a little at a time.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until light and brown.
