Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium cucumbers
    4 medium onions
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 1/3 Tbsp. celery seed
    scant 1/2 c. salt
    1 1/3 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Boil and cool.
    Pour over sliced onions and cucumbers.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Makes about 1 gallon.
