Erwin'S Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    unsalted butter (1 to 1 1/2 lb.)
    juice of 1 lemon
    3 cloves garlic, cut in chunks
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. lemon pepper
    shrimp (medium or large)
Preparation
    Simmer all ingredients except shrimp for 20 to 30 minutes, then heat to high.
    Add shrimp and cook until shrimp turn pink (2 to 4 minutes, according to size).
    Do not overcook.
    Immediately serve hot butter sauce with shrimp in soup bowls and sourdough bread (muffins or small loaves), cooked on low heat until very hard.
    Sop sauce with bread.
