Taco Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, cut up
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 envelope taco seasoning mix (2 Tbsp.)
    shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
    corn chips (optional)
    sour cream (optional)
Preparation
    Cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is soft.
    Drain off fat.
    Add water, kidney beans, tomatoes (including juices), tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix.
    Simmer covered for 15 minutes.
    Pass cheese, corn chips and sour cream to top each serving.
    Serves 6.
