Apple Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. apples, chopped
Preparation

Mix flour and shortening together.
Add enough water to make dough.
Roll out thin as pie crust.
Sprinkle with chopped apples. Roll up like jelly roll and cut about 3/4-inch slices.
Lay in sheet cake pan.
Bring to a boil sugar, water, cinnamon and butter.
Pour over apple roll.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
