Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter well.
    Add sugar, a small amount at a time, beating until light.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until fluffy.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk.
    Divide into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
