Nutmeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peanut butter
    3 c. tomato juice
    1 onion, chopped or blended (or may use onion salt in place of salt)
    1 c. flour
    1 c. hot water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. sage or poultry seasoning
Preparation
    Work peanut butter and water together; mix tomato juice and flour until smooth.
    Combine with peanut butter mixture all remaining ingredients.
    Steam in buttered double boiler for 5 1/2 hours.
    Cool.
    Turn onto plate.
    Slice and serve cold or fry and serve with tomato gravy.
