Sour Cream Coated Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine the sugar and sour cream; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and stir well.
    Add pecans; mix until well coated (this hardens fast, so this has to be done quickly).
    Spread on wax paper to cool and dry.
    Break apart into separate nuts while still warm.
