Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. tart raw apples
    1 c. walnuts or pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine oil and sugar. Blend very well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
    Mix into oil-egg mixture and combine thoroughly. Add apples and nuts.
    Mix with spoon, then add vanilla. Bake in tube pan. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 hours. Remove from oven and let cool in pan while preparing glaze.
