Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, sliced
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 green peppers, diced
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook onions and green peppers slowly in oleo until onions are done.
    Add hamburger and saute until the mixture falls apart.
    Add tomatoes, rice and seasonings.
    Arrange in casserole.
    Cover and bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until done.
    Serves 8.
