Sunday Barbecued Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 pork chops (1-inch thick)
    2 tsp. shortening
    1 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    2 tsp. vinegar
    1 c. ketchup
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    4 tsp. brown sugar
    4 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Sear chops on both sides in shortening.
    Combine remaining ingredients and heat; add chops.
    Cook slowly for 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours.
    Place pork chops in baking dish.
    Heat in 375\u00b0 oven for about 15 minutes.
    Serve sauce on rice.
    Yields 6 servings.
