Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. baking chocolate or 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt the chocolate in top of a double boiler with the butter. When melted, remove and add the sugar. Mix well and add the eggs. Mix well again. Sift the flour with the salt and blend into chocolate mixture. Add the nuts; mix well and add vanilla. Mix again. Pour into a shallow pan (buttered and lined with wax paper; also butter the paper). A 9 x 9-inch pan is a good size. Spread evenly and bake at 325\u00b0 for about 30 to 35 minutes, until dry on top and firm to touch. Turn upside down on board; cool. Then cut into squares.
