Glazed Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 sweet potatoes (about 2 lb.)
    boiling water
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Wash potatoes; place in large saucepan.
    Cover with boiling water; bring back to boiling.
    Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 30 minutes or until tender.
    Drain; let cool.
    Peel and halve lengthwise.
