Apple-Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. oleo
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2/3 c. sour cream
1 1/4 c. shredded, peeled apple
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Beat together brown sugar, butter and vanilla at medium speed on electric mixer, about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add combined flour, cornmeal, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg alternately with sour cream, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in apples and nuts.
Spoon into well-greased 9-cup Bundt pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Ice with Browned Butter Icing.
