Baked Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. long grain rice
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 or 3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    ground nutmeg or cinnamon
Preparation
    In heavy, medium pan, bring 2 cups milk, rice and raisins to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and cook over very low heat about 15 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in margarine until melted.
