Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. butter/margarine
    2 c. peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In a 3-quart saucepan, heat together sugar, corn syrup and water, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    When syrup boils, blend butter/margarine.
    Stir frequently.
    Add peanuts when temperature is 200\u00b0.
    Stir constantly to hard-crack stage, 305\u00b0.
    Remove from heat; stir in soda.
    Mix well.
    Pour into 2 buttered cookie sheets.
    Loosen from pan.
    When hard, break into pieces.
