Crunchy Fudge Sandwiches - cooking recipe

6 oz. (1 c.) butterscotch morsels
1/2 c. peanut butter
4 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Combine the butterscotch morsels and the peanut butter in a large glass or microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave on High for 2 minutes; stir.
Continue microwaving in 1 minute increments until the morsels are all melted.
Stir in the Rice Krispies.
Butter an 8-inch square pan or 7 x 11-inch oblong pan.
Press half the Rice Krispies mixture into the pan and chill.
Set the remaining Rice Krispies mix aside while you make the filling.
