Horace'S Favorite Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white corn meal, sifted
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. onion flakes or minced onion
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together dry.
Heat deep skillet with 1/2 inch cooking oil (Should be about 400\u00b0).
Mix water (cold) with mixture until it will spoon out in thin 1/2 inch patties.
Drop in hot oil.
Cook until golden brown.
