Squirrel Stew 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 dressed squirrels
    salt and pepper
    flour
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 potatoes, cubed
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    1 1/2 c. okra
    1 qt. canned tomatoes
    1 can whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Cut the squirrels into serving size pieces and roll them in salt and peppered flour.
    Brown them in cooking oil in a large stew pot.
    Slowly add about 1 quart of water.
    Add the bay leaf, garlic and vegetables.
    Cook slowly for about 2 hours, until carrots and meat are tender.
    Add water as needed during the cooking.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
