French Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 C. whipping cream
    3 beaten egg yolks
    1/2 C. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 C. Half & Half cream
Preparation
    Thoroughly combine milk, egg yolks, salt and sugar. Cook slowly in double boiler until mixture thickens and coats spoon. Cool and add vanilla and Half & Half. Place in ice cream freezer and follow instructions.
