Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium size potatoes, sliced, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
    1 large carrot, pared
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    4 c. water
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk (Milnot)
Preparation
    Put all ingredients except milk in pan.
    Cover and cook on low until potatoes are tender.
    Stir in milk the last 15 minutes.
    I take potato masher and crush into small pieces.
