Church Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 qt. ginger ale
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1/2 bottle almond extract
Preparation
    Boil water and sugar; cool.
    Combine this mixture with ginger ale, pineapple juice and almond extract; chill.
    Makes 20 punch cups.
