Strawberry Puree - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pt. fresh or frozen strawberries
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 to 2 tsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Wash and hull fresh berries.
    In the blender, puree berries. Add the almond and vanilla extracts.
    Sweeten with sugar.
    Serve as a sauce with fresh berries, melons, apricots, peaches or as a sauce over ice cream (fat-free), pancakes, waffles or French toast.
