Pineapple And Cream Cheese Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1 large pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Cook the pineapple and sugar together 3 minutes after it comes to a boil.
    Add the Jell-O and dissolve. Add softened cream cheese and mix until cheese is blended thoroughly.
    Set aside to cool. When cool, add the whipping cream (maraschino cherries, if you desire).
    Pour into buttered mold and refrigerate for several hours.
