Hazelnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. plus 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. hazelnuts, toasted, peeled and chopped fine
1 3/4 c. pastry flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1/4 c. coffee
Preparation

Have all the ingredients at room temperature, especially the butter and the eggs.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and 1 cup of the sugar until very light and fluffy, 3 to 5 minutes in a mixer.
Add the egg yolks, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Beat in the vanilla, then the hazelnuts.
