Smoked Sausage Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. oil
    au gratin potatoes
    2 1/2 c. water
    4 medium carrots, cut into 2-inch strips
    1 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli, thawed
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 pkg.)
    pepper
Preparation
    Cook sausage and onion in skillet until onion is tender, stirring frequently.
    Add potatoes, sausage mix, 2 1/2 cups water and pepper.
    Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add carrots, mixing gently.
    Simmer for 10 minutes longer or until carrots are tender-crisp.
    Stir in broccoli and cheese.
    Cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes longer or until broccoli is tender.
