Almond Horns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
pinch of salt
1 lb. butter
1/2 lb. blanched finely ground almonds
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and salt together.
Add butter and work into flour until well mixed. Add the almonds and lemon extract.
Take small amounts of crumbs and roll in palm of hand until smooth. Make them long and form into horn shape.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Let them cool completely, then roll in powdered sugar.
Makes about 12 dozen crescents.
