Golden Rod Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 hard-cooked eggs
    6 slices toast
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    parsley
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Melt butter, add flour and seasonings.
    Add hot milk gradually, stirring constantly.
    Cook until makes a thin gravy.
    Peel eggs.
    Mince whites finely and season.
    Add egg whites to white sauce and pour over toast.
    Grate egg yolks or put through a sieve.
    Sprinkle over toast and white sauce mixture.
    Garnish with parsley.
