New England Brownie Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    3/4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix together brown sugar and cocoa.
    Sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over top.
    (This will make a sauce in bottom of pan when pudding is done.) Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 6 or 8.
