Rhubarb Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. rhubarb
    3 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. water
    3 oz. box strawberry or raspberry Jell-O
    1 small (14 or 20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Mix rhubarb, sugar, salt and water.
    Boil these ingredients for 10 minutes, then add pineapple and boil for 7 minutes.
    Take off heat; add Jell-O and stir together.
    Yield:
    2 pints.
