Buttermilk Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. Karo syrup
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Cook on high for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour over cake while hot.
