One, Two, Three, Four Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light.
    Add beaten eggs, one at a time, beating each in thoroughly.
    Sift dry ingredients alternately with milk and flavoring.
    Bake in 3 layers at 375\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
    Fill and frost as desired.
