Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. water
1 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
desired food coloring *
1 c. flour

Preparation

In a saucepan over low heat, mix water, salt, cream of tartar and vegetable oil.
Add food coloring.
Stir well and add flour. Mix well and cook until thick.
Cool before use.
May need kneading to fully mix in flour.
