Convection Oven Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. softened shortening
1 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. quick cook oats

Preparation

Set oven broiling rack in lower guides.
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg into large bowl.
Add shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes.
Remove from sheet.
