Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cut in 2 x 2 1/2-inch strips
    1 (No. 2) can (2 1/2 c.) chunk pineapple
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 small green pepper, cut in strips
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onions
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Brown pork in a small amount of fat and 1/2 cup water.
    Simmer until tender.
    Drain pineapple (reserve juice).
    Combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Add pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce and salt. Add to pork and simmer until thick.
    Add pineapple, pepper and onion.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
