Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
3 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 small can peas
1 small can whole kernel corn
3 medium potatoes, diced
2 Tbsp. butter
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 c. cabbage, diced
1/4 c. ketchup
1/2 c. tomato juice
4 qt. water
salt and pepper
Preparation

Melt butter in soup pot.
Add water, add diced vegetables (except canned ones), ketchup, tomato juice, salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to boil.
Let simmer slowly 3/4 hour.
Add canned vegetables and cook an additional 10 minutes.
