Summer Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1(19 oz.) can chick peas, drained
    1 (19 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
    1 bell pepper, thin 1-inch strips
    1/2 medium red onion, thin strips
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
    lettuce leaves
Preparation
    For dressing, whisk together oil, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper; set aside.
    In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients except lettuce leaves.
    Toss with dressing.
    Serve on lettuce leaves.
