White Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    2 egg whites (1/3 c.), room temperature
    1 1/2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Frosts 2 (9-inch) layer cake, 9 x 13-inch layer or large tube cake.
