Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. Raisin Bran
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. melted shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Preheat oven
to
400\u00b0.
Mix
bran, sugar, flour, soda, spice and salt in a large bowl.
Add eggs, shortening, vanilla and buttermilk.
Mix
well.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full and bake in a 400\u00b0 oven
for
15 to 20 minutes.
Store rest of batter in refrigerator.
Can be
kept up to 6 weeks in covered container.
