Greek Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    olive oil (for sauteing)
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, drained or 6 ripe fresh tomatoes, chopped
    1 c. dry white wine
    1 tsp. dried oregano, divided
    2 lb. fresh peeled and deveined shrimp or 1 lb. each fresh shrimp and fresh scallops or 2 lb. non-oily white fish, cut up
    fresh ground pepper
    1/2 lb. Feta cheese
    noodles, rice, couscous or toast points
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook the onion and garlic in a small amount of olive oil until onion is softened.
    Add the tomatoes and break them up with a large spoon.
    Add the wine and let that cook.
    Next, add half the oregano and continue cooking about 20 minutes.
    It should thicken nicely.
    At this point, the sauce can be covered and refrigerated until nearly time to serve.
