Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 oz. chocolate
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir sugar, chocolate, corn syrup and milk until sugar dissolves then cook slowly without stirring to 238\u00b0 (soft ball). Add butter.
    Remove from heat.
    When lukewarm (240\u00b0, about 25 minutes, add vanilla.
    Beat.
    Ices double layer cake.
