Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chipped
    1 turkey kielbasa, sliced thinly
    1/4 c. olive oil
    6 c. chicken broth
    2 c. washed lentils
    2 c. tomato juice
    1 1/2 c. white wine
    1 tsp. crushed rosemary or basil
    2 grated carrots
    4 potatoes, diced
    1/2 pkg. fresh spinach or 1 pkg. frozen spinach
    Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, saute onion, garlic and kielbasa for 4 to 5 minutes.
    Heat chicken broth for 5 minutes; add to sausage mixture.
    Add lentils, tomato juice, white wine, rosemary or basil and grated carrots.
    Cook for 1 hour on low simmer.
    In the last 20 minutes of cooking, add diced potatoes and spinach.
    Add Tabasco to taste; add salt and pepper.
    Just before serving, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
