Low-Fat Tijuana Bean Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can fat-free refried beans
1 c. grated nonfat Cheddar cheese
jalapeno peppers to taste, chopped (optional)
1/4 c. chopped green onions
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 Tbsp. salsa or taco sauce
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Microwave Directions:
In a 1 1/2-quart dish, combine beans, cheese, green onions and jalapeno peppers.
Cover with a piece of wax paper.
Microwave on High 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Stir after 2 minutes.
Stir in tomato, salsa and lemon juice.
Serve warm with Low-fat Tortilla Chips.
Makes about 12 (1/4-cup) servings.
