Pan-Fried Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 pork chops
    2 c. flour
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 to 4 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Wash chops; pat dry and season with salt and pepper. In large skillet, heat oil. Flour chops and sear in the oil. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side to brown. Remove and pat dry on paper towels. Put the chops back in the skillet and add the chopped onions and chopped garlic to pot with 1/4 cup water. Put lid on the pot and steam chops approximately 20 minutes.
