Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 lb. ground round steak
salt and pepper (for taste)
3 to 4 Tbsp. oil
1 heaping Tbsp. flour
3 c. tomato juice
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped onions
Preparation

Shape ground round into 6 to 8 patties. In a large iron skillet with oil, brown the patties and remove from skillet. Add to the oil in pan the flour. Slowly brown. Add the tomato juice, vinegar, ground cloves, sugar, salt and onions. Allow to come to a boil; return the patties. Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
