Dilly-Bacon Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    8 slices crisp bacon
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill or 2 tsp. dried
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients, add crumbled bacon along with dill. Mix in
    separate bowl, the liquid ingredients and stir into cornmeal mixture until just combined.
    Spoon into greased 8 x 8-inch pan or cornstick mold.
    Bake 20 minutes at 425\u00b0.
