Parks Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. orange peel
    1/4 lb. lemon peel
    1 lb. citron, candied
    2 lb. nuts
    2 lb. seeded raisins
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. cherries, candied
    1 lb. pineapple, candied
    1 doz. eggs
    5 c. plain flour
    1 lb. brown sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    4 tsp. allspice
    1 pt. blackberry wine
Preparation
    Soak nuts and fruits in wine overnight.
    Then mix.
    Pour into 1 large or 2 medium tube cake pans.
    Cook at 250\u00b0
    for 5 hours with water in oven. Makes 10 pound cake.
