Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 can pineapple
    2 c. milk
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    3/4 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg yolks
    3/4 c. rice
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Cook
    rice
    and set aside.
    Mix sugar, pineapple, milk, cornstarch, salt, butter, vanilla and egg yolks and cook until thickened.
    If
    too
    thick
    add
    a little milk or butter.
    Add rice
    and
    mix well.
    Pour into dish and sprinkle with nutmeg. Use the egg whites to make meringue for topping.
    Brown.
