Latkes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium size potatoes, washed, pared and grated
    1 egg
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix the egg and grated potatoes.
    Add flour and baking powder.
    Drop by spoonful into hot cooking oil in a frying pan.
    Brown on both sides.
    Drain on a paper towel.
    Serve with applesauce or sour cream.
